Natura 2000 is the name of a network of valuable habitats that covers the whole of the EU. Protection by the Natura 2000 network is meant to ensure the conservation of nature and wildlife in Europe.
In the view of J&E, a number of trends and developments endanger natural values in Europe which requires legal action as well. Therefore J&E produced an analysis and a non-technical summary on how the protection mechanism of Natura 2000 works.
