How do cases that relate to access to environmental justice progress at the UN?

If you are curious how cases at the special body of the United Nations, the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee (ACCC) proceed, here is our publication for you.

The ACCC oversees how countries that have ratified the Aarhus Convention perform their obligations to provide access to information, participation and justice to the people in environmental matters. Part of the cases that were brought against countries for breaching their duties (called non-compliance) affect justice issues. In the following case study, J&E collected typical problems and a few summaries of cases how they stood at the end of 2019 in the process of deliberation by the ACCC.
