There has been a number of environmental cases that involve transboundary issues. Amongst others, the Austrian hazardous waste incinerator near the Hungarian border in Heiligenkreuz, the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant, the Danube-Oder-Elbe Canal and so on. J&E offers its capacities to environmental NGOs in such cases, using its double feature: being a European level environmental NGO and also being rooted in the national context and knowing the national laws of the respective countries as well.
